And so, on this forty-fifth anniversary of Roe v. Wade, let us respond to Roe as Frederick Douglass responded to a similar indignity, Dred Scott v. Sandford.
“Happily for the whole human family,” Douglass thundered, “their rights have been defined, declared, and decided in a court higher than the Supreme Court.”

Dear Mr President,
If you want the public to put pressure on their representatives to abandon Obamacare then present them information that persuades. Please consider my plan:
1. Take the top 50 reasons people go to doctors, tell the American people the average cost of each visit, how much is spent on the doctors’ administrative staffs, absorbed by the insurance companies and how much the doctor actually receives. Do the same for the top 50 surgeries.
For example, I know a local marriage therapist who charges $90 an hour but after the insurance companies take their cut, he only receives $9. Americans would be shocked to learn that as I was.
2. Show the American people how much they’d save if they could bypass all that bureaucracy in terms of top-selling items they want.
3. Tell the American people the truth that pleases the human Spirit–that the federal government has no business managing health care and must give it up. If states want to act as incubators and experiment with programs, let them or totally return the power to the people.
Robert John Stevens
And history teaches us that when we don’t know how to solve a problem, the best thing to do is to experiment. We should test different ideas through a cooperative, bottom-up, trial-and-error process rather than imposing top-down, partisan power-plays that disrupt the lives of hundreds of millions of people at a time. — Senator Mike Lee

In response to Senator Mike Lee’s article Sen. Mike Lee: Don’t give up on health care, I submitted this comment:
Please embrace the proper role of the federal government. Repeal Obamacare and replace it with nothing by introducing a one-sentence bill that says, “The Federal government will no longer manage healthcare.” Like PCs, printers, cell phones, and phone service plans, prices will drop when the free markets can compete without government intervention.

We the sane people of Utah don’t want a Hillary presidency. Neither do we want more wars. We hate everything the Republican establishment has given us in regard to wars, debt, interventionism, propaganda, etc.
You say you don’t like Trump but you failed to speak out and support the U.S. Constitution after you examined Obama’s phony multi-layered birth certificate.1
To attempt a coup against Trump is to elect Hillary. Please support Trump. Offer to advise him on liberty, freedom and the U.S. Constitution if you think you know more.
1 An aide at Senator Lee’s Salt Lake City office confirmed to me by phone that after verifying Obama’s birth certificate had multiple Photoshop layers, Senator Lee said it was a state issue.
Anyone who has followed Senator Lee knows he spends his extra time reading Supreme Court cases so why then is he a Senator?
Love Senator Lee because he has some understanding of the proper role of government but hasn’t he had enough time in office to prove he is not influential in government? He may be a great Justice of the Supreme Court because one of his favorite things to do is to read their court cases.
I’m very happy Senator Lee speaks out on these issues but how much influence is he having? And if he doesn’t have enough influence then should he resign and trust God will raise up somebody who can influence the masses and instigate change?
Senator Lee, How then did you in good conscience vote for a federal budget bill that funds an executive branch that uses drones to kill thousands of people without due process, and that wages unconstitutional wars that kills, wounds and displaces millions in the Middle East?
Also filed under Utah Congressmen and Senators who are members of the gang of 535 who will seek re-election, touting again their accomplishments and committee positions.
